Methodology
How we measure AI visibility
Plain and honest. Here is exactly what we ask, how we count it, and what the numbers can and cannot tell you.
What we measure
- Share of voice
- A firm's share of all the brand mentions AI made across the questions we asked, shown as a percent.
- Mention count
- How many times AI named the firm across all answers in the sample.
- Average position
- Where the firm tends to appear in the answer. A lower number means AI lists it earlier.
How we probe
For each industry we ask 15 buying-style questions, the kind a real customer would type, across ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini. We read every answer, pull out the businesses named, and tally them. The result is a leaderboard of who AI puts forward when someone asks for the best in Klang Valley.
- Models: ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini
- Questions per industry: about 15
- Location focus: Klang Valley
- We only count real, named businesses. Nothing is invented or hand-edited.
The weekly rotation
We refresh a different group of industries each week, so every category is re-measured about once a month. The latest run is 2026-W25.
Week 1 · refreshing now
Aesthetic Clinics, Dental, Fertility, Interior Design, Hair Transplant, Plastic Surgery
Week 2
Dermatology, Eye And Lasik, Confinement Care, Physiotherapy, Veterinary, Weight Loss Clinics
Week 3
Architecture Firms, Kitchen Design, Landscaping, Solar Energy, Property Agents, Home Builders
Week 4
Law Firms, Accounting Firms, Company Secretary, Wealth Management, Private Schools, Wedding Photography
What the numbers can and cannot tell you
- AI answers are non-deterministic. The same question can return different names on different runs, so these figures are directional, not guaranteed.
- Share of voice varies by AI model, location and personalisation. We aggregate across ChatGPT, Claude and Google Gemini.
- Each industry is probed with about 15 buying-style questions per refresh, so results reflect that sample, not the whole market.
