We cap groups at eight, partner only with guides born in the places we visit, and build every itinerary with genuine rest built in. Travel that leaves you restored, not depleted.

Most trips come together within a week. Deposits are small; no full payment until 30 days before departure.

We draft a detailed day-by-day itinerary with real accommodations, transport options and meal highlights — no vague 'local restaurant' placeholders.

Your local guide meets you on arrival. We remain reachable throughout — not just at the booking stage — so small surprises stay small.

06 · Before you pack
Questions, answered.
How large are your groups?
We cap all group departures at eight travellers. Smaller groups give guides room to personalise the experience — you will not feel like a number in a crowd. Private trips for families or companies have no cap.
Can I build a completely custom itinerary?
Yes — in fact, most bookings start that way. Tell us your dates, interests and approximate budget. We will put together a full day-by-day proposal within 48 hours. There is no cost to review or revise it.
How much deposit is required to hold a trip?
We require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining 70% is due 30 days before departure. For trips booked within 30 days of departure, full payment is required upfront.
Do you cater for solo travellers?
Absolutely. Solo travellers join group departures at the standard per-person rate. If you prefer a private trip with no other travellers, a solo supplement applies — usually RM 300–600 depending on accommodation.
What does a local guide actually do on the trip?
Your guide handles all logistics on the ground — transport, check-ins, reservations, and real-time re-routing if weather or access changes. They also bring cultural context you simply cannot get from a guidebook. Most of our guides have been with us for three or more years.
Is travel insurance really required?
Yes, for all trips. We recommend it strongly and ask for proof of coverage before final confirmation. If you need a recommendation, we partner with a few Malaysian insurers who cover adventure and remote travel — just ask.
