05 · Our story

We started Pagi because mornings deserved better coffee.

Pagi opened in 2018 in a narrow shophouse on Jalan Telawi. The name is the Malay word for morning — because that is what this place is about: the ritual of the first cup, done right.

We roast in Cheras, pick up green from importers we trust, and rotate the bar every quarter as new harvests arrive. Our team is small by choice. Seven of us, most of whom have been here since year two.

01

Direct relationships

We buy from farmers, not brokers. Knowing who grew the coffee — and paying them fairly — is what keeps the quality honest.

02

Small batches

Our roaster holds 10 kg per drum. That limit is the discipline. It means every roast gets full attention, not just the first few kilos.

03

Fresh only

We roast each origin once a week and stop when it sells out. There is no safety stock sitting in a warehouse going stale.

06 · Before you visit

Good questions, honest answers.

Do you offer a coffee subscription?

Yes — monthly and bi-monthly plans. Pick your origins (or let us choose), set your grind, and a fresh bag ships the week it roasts. WhatsApp us to set one up; we handle it manually so we can actually talk through what you drink.

Do you have decaf?

Always. We carry a Swiss Water Process decaf that rotates with the season. Available as espresso, pour-over and as whole bean to take home. Same care, none of the buzz.

Can I buy beans wholesale for my café or restaurant?

We work with about a dozen accounts around the Klang Valley. Minimum is 10 kg a month across any origins. Let us know your menu and volume and we can talk — WhatsApp is easiest.

Will you grind beans for me?

Yes, grind on request at no charge. Tell us your brew method — espresso, Moka pot, pour-over, French press — and we'll dial it in. We recommend whole bean for anything over a week away, but it is your coffee.

How do I get here, and is parking available?

We are at 24 Jalan Telawi, Bangsar Baru. Street parking on Jalan Telawi and the parallel lanes. Alternatively, a 12-minute walk from Bangsar LRT. We are open daily 8am – 6pm, no reservations needed.

Something else on your mind? WhatsApp the team — we reply between 8am and 5pm daily.
